The Makers Market

I had a pretty epic first weekend in Manchester.

I spent time with lots of great people and did lots of exploring. One of the things I explored was the Makers Market in the Northern Quarter, followed by North Tea Power, with Sarah who came over for the day.

I loved these candles in champagne glasses!
These guys reminded me a little of salad fingers

I picked up some macarons for me and my housemate, and then we went over to her friend’s house for a barbecue. A great end to a great first week.

  1. Hi Fran! The Makers Market looks so fab. I’ve been looking into different markets and fairs that I can visit so that I can do a little research to see which ones I want to sell at later on in the year or even next year and I’m so excited! I hope Manchester is treating you well! 🙂

      • Thanks for asking 🙂 unfortunately the studio has had to be stopped because the builders work was terrible! It wasn’t being done in a safe way at all and now I’ve had to take legal action. It’s set me back quite a lot but hopefully I will be back on track later on in the year. I’m glad Manchester is going well for you 🙂 xx

        • Hi Yasmin, oh no it sounds like you’ve had quite a stressful experience with this studio building! It’s a good thing it’s stopped if they weren’t doing safe work and the delayed gratification will be worth it eventually, but it’s awful you’ve had to take legal action. You’re already doing so well for someone so young – I still didn’t have a clue what I was doing when I was your age! Keep faith in your goal and trust the timing of your journey towards it – things always work out for the best in the end x
